Not all my work is wedding photography and below is a lovely family I photographed and luckily the weather was good so we stayed in their own garden for the photographs
Sarah & Ben’s wedding at Durham Castle
Sarah & Ben were very lucky with the weather. We had rain all week but on their day the rain mostly stayed away with only a few showers here and there but not enough to affect their day or their photos. The service was at Chester-le-street followed by the reception at Durham Castle which of course gives opportunity to grab some great photos.
Rachel & Brett’s Wedding
We photographed the wedding of Rachel & Brett yesterday at Whitworth Hall Hotel & Deer Park. It was a beautiful wedding and the weather was lovely and so warm and humid even into the evening
Melanie & David
It rained all day for the wedding of Melanie & David so we had to take all the photos inside at Ramside Hall in Durham. But Melanie & David were brilliant and the rain never bothered them at all so we still got some lovely photos for them using the inside locations like staircases etc. With any wedding you cannot guarantee the weather and you just have to work with what you have but it also helps when your bride and groom work with you and take it in their stride as Melanie and David did.

The wedding of Louise & Craig
The Wedding of Louse & Craig was a great way to end the year. The wedding was at Whitworth Hall Hotel Deer Park. It was a cold day but no rain and even a little evening sun to give a bit of Christmas sparkle to the photos.

The wedding of Catherine & Lewis
A short while back we photographed the wedding of Catherine & Lewis at Redworth Hall Hotel on a lovely autumn day.
Catherine & Lewis were very easy to work with getting their photographs around the lovely grounds of the hotel and it was such an honour and a privilege to be asked to be part of their day

Congratulations to the new Mr & Mrs Earle
Katie and I photographed the wedding of Catherine & Andrew. I have to say the order of service had to be the most original I have ever seen… brilliant. Despite the wind Catherine & Andrew were great and nothing stopped them getting their photos. Catherine was even willing to climb over ditches if needed.

Zoe & Scott
A few ago we the had the pleasure to photograph the wedding of Zoe & Scott at Doxford Barns. It is a lovely venue and the staff are brilliant including farmer Tom and his son who took us over to the lake in their cars and allowed us in the barns with the lambs – Brilliant.

The wedding of Vicky and Tomas
A few weeks ago we photographed the wedding of Vicky and Tomas on the lovely Zetland Estate and then onto Rockliffe Hall for the reception. It was a bright but very cold day but that never stopped Vicky or Tomas and Vicky even went bare feet in some photos
